CMS BMW V12 TO G50 ADAPTER KIT

 

Finally there is an off the shelf solution to mate a G50 to a BMW V12, in a mid engine configuration.  The conversion flywheel allows for use of standard Porsche clutch assembly and starter (sold separately).

CMS BILLET CABLE SHIFTER/SHORT SHIFTER

(Designed for use with G50 cable shift converted transmissions and all factory cable shift transmissions ’99 and later)

 

Modeled after the Porsche 996 cable shifter, our assembly incorporates a B&M standard issue short shifter (45135).

 

Additionally, depending on which base plate is installed, the CMS billet cable shifter will accommodate either custom made to order shift cables or factory shift cables.  The nature of the application will best determine which base plate and cable combo is best.

 

Other features include:

  • A 35% reduction in throw
  • Side to side free play is eliminated as found in OEM shifters
  • All of our parts are precision machined from billet 6061-absolutely no parts are stamped or cast

 

CMS billet cable shifter assembly with B&M 45135 short shifter installed $849

 

The shifter can be also ordered without the B&M shifter, if you already have one.

CMS cable shifter kit for G50 5 and 6 speed

 

Originally designed for FFR GTM’s and Ultima GTR’s, our newest cable shift kit is a complete “bolt on” kit.

 

As the lengths of the cables will vary based on how they are routed and the exact transaxle being used, we cannot pre-determine the lengths unfortunately.  Only after the shifter and cable bracket assembly is installed, and a mockup performed of how the cables will route, can the cables be custom made to order.

You must specify 5 or 6 speed when ordering.
